After continuous scientific research and practice, German and American experts in the field of architecture finally found that the breathable roof cushion should be changed into impermeable rolling material as a vapor barrier which is empty spread on the roof base, so that the water vapor in the cast-in-place concrete roof can discharge outside to a certain extent and slow down the spread of the water vapor from the concrete roof to the insulation layer.Then the waterproof membrane with air permeability is used as the building covering system (later called house wrap), which prevents the infiltration of liquid phase water and vapor phase water outside the building and at the same time makes the water vapor inside the insulation layer discharge out rapidly.The combined use of steam barrier and house wrap strengthens the air tightness and water tightness of the building,so that solve the problem of moisture and mold resistance, and effectively protects the thermal performance of the envelope, thus truly achieve the purpose of energy saving.
